Change is going to come. It just is. It seems like only yesterday we were in the process of moving into a new place to live, work was well work, and the weather had a damp chill in it.
We expected things were going to be like this for a while, but it was only a couple months when life was completely uprooted and we were looking at a new direction.
Moving from the Pacific Northwest, to Southern Mississippi was not anything I ever expected to do, but here we are. A new place to live; A new business; and a new adventure. In short, changes is going to come. Life happens.
Truth is, things like this happen to each of us every day. In order to succeed in our endeavors we have to use every available resource available in order to regain order. The sad part is that even though change happens, many times there are a lot of small businesses who do not use every tool available. Oh we will just do things the way we always have and plug along trying to rebuild our image, our customer base, and we will get by. And we might but it may be a long hard struggle.
Unfortunately, it is the same story for many small businesses. They exist, but no one really knows about them. They cannot afford a big billboard, a splashy TV commercial, and sometimes even a mention in the newspaper.
They know about websites and Facebook, but they have never anticipated that it would be something they would need for their business. And now they wonder why it is so hard for new customers to find them? Without changing the basics of your business practices and investing in new technologies it will be a struggle at best, but there is hope on the horizon.
Like many small business owners, you may believe your business cannot benefit from having a website or that a website is just not within your budget. Or perhaps you think because you don’t use a computer, neither do your potential customers. Wrong.
The simplest way to effectively change your business and increase your chances for success is to get a website and over the next few articles we will detail for you why and how to succeed in improving your bottom line. That is why you started the business right?
